After waiting 5 to 10 minutes for a temperature differential to form, thread the canisters onto the device with the sending canister on top ("OUT") and the receiving canister on the bottom ("IN") side. Hand tighten and then open the valve to begin the transfer process. Once the transfer is complete, close the valve and detach the isobutane fuel canisters.
